Infant Assistant Teacher
Dogwood Hills Academy is accepting applications for an Infant Assistant Teacher. Applicant must have the ability to relate positively to very young children, be self-motivated, organized, energetic, and desire to be part of a hard working team. Ability to move from floor activities to table-top activities and lift at least 25lbs is essential to this position. Primary position is full-time, closing hours. Part-time and substitute positions are also available for this age group.
Preschool Assistant Teacher
Dogwood Hills Academy’s preschool classes are growing and an additional Preschool Assistant Teacher is needed. Primary responsibility of the assistant teacher is to assist the lead teacher in classroom management and planned academic activities. Applicant must have the ability to relate positively to children ages three and four, have a strong work ethic, excellent attendance record and good communication skills. Ability to move from floor activities to table top activities and lift at least 35lbs is essential to this position, along with understanding what is age-appropriate for this group.
Afternoon Closer
Dogwood Hills Academy is now accepting applications for an Afternoon Closer. This position is primarily responsible for cleaning classrooms and common areas of the school during the last three hours of operation. Detailed procedures are provided for this position to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are achieved. Great position for high school senior or college student.
